 Everyone wants "change" and hopefully it all works out for everyone. In real estate I hope we see alittle more movement in the next few months. It seems some were in a stand still until after the election. Now it is over and hopefully we can start moving forward. We have been waiting sooo long for a great start to winter. And here we are! We have been getting snow in North Conway and surrounding areas on a regular basis. Last night we had a few inches to add to the tally with 4"- 6" more over night tonight. It amazes me how the weather influences the economy. Last year when it rained more than ever we saw how slow things got. People weren't coming up to visit. Everyone suffered. No snow means no stays at the local lodging, limited skiing and snowmobiling, no one eating out and for us no one really looking or looking to buy. No traffic- no people. But at last ....the SNOW!!! People are HAPPY! Happy people will come back and hopefully like the area and plan to buy. This is a buyer's market and now is the time if you have the means to invest in real estate. There are great buys in the area. I know when we go to Lake Tahoe every year we keep in touch with a local Realtor who sends us updates on property in the Lake Tahoe area. Some day we will find and invest in the right property out there. That's how it all started with us moving to North Conway 8 years ago...visiting the area over time and finally finding our dream home right in North Conway Village. So let it snow ....let it snow!!!!
